Waiheke Ferry Time-lapse

​Brief time lapse video of the arrival of the SeaLink Seamaster to Kennedy Point terminal on Waiheke Island. SeaLink operates up to 13 services a day on this route.

Seamaster, formerly known as M. N. Subritzky, operates vehicle services between Half Moon Bay and Kennedy Point in Waiheke Island. She started life in 1956 as a barge - Wakairi.  In 1986 she was modified and renamed MN SUBRITZK.

This vessel has had a hull extension from performed by Whangarei Engineering to place it at 41.38m from 31.9m. 

This time-lapse was filmed from the Te Whau Vineyard, breath-taking 360 degree views of the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland City it is arguably one of the best views in New Zealand.
